Frank Zappa 1977 Black Napkin - Frank was a genuis, we can all easily say this. His musical abilities, his musical production is insane with over 30 albums, ton's of track in recording studio un-released, full orchestra symponies, on and on. But his guitar playing is one thing thing that is over looked and it was one of the first guitar hero's I truly embraced. Here he is playing in 1977 playing the Muffin Man which was on the first Zappa record I bought with Captain Beefheart a live album from Armadillo Hdqtrs in Texas called Bongo Fury. Brilliant. His tone, his phrasing, his speed, melodic playing, you will NOT find anyone who plays or played like Frank!
