Andy Summers and Ollie Halsall Duel! - Great video of Andy Summers and Ollie Halsall doing a mild guitar dual in the middle of the song. Made in 1981 for some Spanish TV show which is odd since it was the height of Police mania, Ollie is playing way back because if he wanted he could destroy Andy at anytime. He was the earliest shred guy there was, do a search on him MONSTER player who passed away in the late 90s. The Orchestrator amp is based on a 1950’s style Mullard push-pull circuit with slight modifications using vintage Germanium transistors …. AC125 and AC126 on the front end and two AC128’s on the output side. It also features both driver and output transformers that mimic the sound we are familiar with. The speaker box contains a custom made Weber 6.5″ 4 ohm twin cone driver speaker. The amp is powered by a standard size 9 volt battery. Its power output is approx 1 watt. GREAT Video of the Yardbirds with Beck and Page 1966 !!! - Great video from the 1966 movie Blow Up I pinched this from the Swart Amp site and it’s truley a wonderful video of the Yardbirds with Beck and Page on guitar. Some cheesy acting from Beck makes it even more fun I guess his Wall of Vox’s had a bad pot ? Very cool time in music and history that is gone but can be revisited thru this time capsule !
