The Koko Boost is a clean boost and mid frequency boost pedal with a number of features. As a clean boost, the Koko Boost can vary from unity (buffered) to +20 db of gain. As a mid boost pedal, it can accentuate frequencies over 3 selectable ranges - low mid, mid, and high mid. The user can set the pedal to operate in buffered or true bypass mode.
The Koko Boost has unique features that are not available in other pedals. It can be remotely turned on or off by using the FxLink connector driven for an external switch closure, pedal board, loop switcher, or any other custom interface.
Both boost and mid boost functions are controllable via FxLink. This unique feature provides for the pedal's ability to power up in the ON or OFF state as well as the FxLink state.
The Koko Boost incorporates a unique battery monitor that alerts the user to low battery conditions. In addition, the battery monitor will automatically switch the pedal to true bypass if the battery is too low for the circuity to operate correctly.
